I want to be your Mickey Mouse
The one that you hold
Even though you're a boy
Even though you're too old
I want to be that necessary.
Because I am so opposite
so, completely, unnecessary
unexplainable
uncomfortable,
I find comfort in your unintentions
my pitiful fixations
our unattached sensations
That send me spiralling into hopelessness
accidental carelessness
self-inflicted emptiness
That leaves unencumbered waste
a bitter aftertaste
in my
heart.

Look in the mirror and tell me with a straight face that you have any idea who the hell the person looking back at you is. Then you can critique my actions.
